Stonehaven River Lodge
Roughly 12 km's from the charming seaside village of Stilbaai, you'll find Stonehaven River Lodge. The farm is located on the banks of the meandering Goukou River, perfectly located for watersports and fun on the river such as waterskiing, SUP'ing and canoeing.
Stonehaven is surrounded by quiet farm roads allowing for running, hiking and mountain biking. The fynbos and flora attracts a wonderful amount of local birdlife. Keep an eye out for kingfishers and cormorants on the river and and listen out for the spotted eagle owl and fiery necked night jars at night.
Accommodation is in four welcoming units all solar powered. The farm offers two 2 sleeper cottages (Alice's Cottage & River Lodge), one 4 sleeper (Lodge House) and one 8 sleeper (Ranch House). The total amount that can be accommodated at any given time is 16. All units are private, enjoying their own braai facilities, living spaces and kitchens.

We booked out the whole venue for the weekend - which comfortably accommodated all 14 of us in the well appointed lodges. We loved braai-ing on the deck and chilling inside the communal area in front of the fire place. We cooked together, played boardgames and some of us even swam in the river! Such a gorgeous location. Can't wait to go back!!.'
